Using a hookah can be a pleasant and relaxing experience. Here you have a series of recommendations so that you get the best out of your hookah

To use your hookah correctly, remember to fill the base of the hookah with cold water. The water level should be about 2-3 cm above the lower end of the downstem.

Assemble the body of the hookah by connecting it to the base. Make sure the joints are well sealed to prevent air leaks. Crumble the hookah tobacco and place it in the bowl. Don't push it too hard; It should be spongy to allow good air flow.

Fill the bowl to the brim without overloading it. Cover the bowl with heavy-duty aluminum foil and poke small holes all over the surface using a toothpick or similar tool.

Alternatively, you can use a metal screen designed for hookahs. Use the tongs to hold the charcoal and light it with a lighter or in a charcoal burner until it is completely lit and covered in a layer of gray/white ash. This usually takes a few minutes.

Place the lit charcoal on the aluminum foil or metal screen of the bowl. Make sure to distribute the charcoal evenly to avoid burning the tobacco in one spot. Connect the hose to the hookah making sure it is well sealed and enjoy your experience to the fullest.

Care and maintenance of your Hookah

Properly maintaining and caring for your hookah is essential to ensure a high-quality smoking experience and prolong the life of your equipment. Here is a detailed guide on how to care for and maintain your hookah:

After Each Use: Separate all parts of the hookah (bowl, hose, body, base). Clean the bowl with hot water and a soft brush to remove any tobacco residue. You can use a little mild soap if necessary. Empty the water and rinse the base with hot water. Use a foundation brush to remove any built-up residue. Use a long, thin brush to clean the inside of the downstem and body parts of the hookah. If your hose is washable, rinse it with hot water and hang it to dry completely. If it is not washable, simply shake it well to remove any smoke residue. Be sure to dry all parts completely before reassembling them. Leaving wet pieces can lead to mold build-up and bad odors.

Deep Clean once a week: Prepare a cleaning solution using hot water and white vinegar or baking soda. This will help remove stubborn odors and residue. Submerge the parts of the hookah (except the hose if it is not washable) in the solution for about 30 minutes. Use cleaning brushes to scrub each part, paying special attention to areas where residue tends to accumulate. Rinse all parts thoroughly with hot water and allow them to dry completely before reassembling.

Disassembly: Always store the hookah disassembled to avoid damage to the parts, store all parts in a dry and cool place to avoid the build-up of moisture and mold.
